Naia Resort and Spa encompasses 19 acres of secluded beachfront and lush landscapes within the private 200-acre Cocoplum Community on Belize’s Placencia Peninsula. The property extends along nearly a mile of palm-studded beach, where 37 beautifully-appointed Beach Houses envelop guests in casual, residential-style luxury.
At the heart of the resort lies Naia Spa, so named to reflect the free-spirited nature of the resort and the ever-present connection between land and water. This breathtaking retreat is spread over a collection of small islands dotting an enchanting freshwater lagoon where our skilled and experienced therapists work their restorative magic. The spa also features a fully-equipped fitness center, plus a yoga and movement studio that overlooks our tranquil lagoon.

Studio Beach Houses

Casual yet luxurious, our Studio Beach Houses offer a tranquil seaside retreat like no other. Dotted along a palm-studded beach, and with 646 square-foot of space, the open-plan Studios come complete with 13-foot ceilings crafted from beautiful local hardwoods. Large glass doors open out onto a private veranda that offers direct access to the sandy shores, or simply acts as the perfect place to relax and listen to the waves.
A thoughtfully designed bathroom features a spacious indoor tub with shower, as well as a stunning outdoor shower surrounded by specially designed landscaping, creating a delicious dilemma over how best to refresh at the end of the day.
Studios are available as Beach Front or Beach View depending on whether you want to wake up to the ocean right on your doorstep, or be a little more nestled among our natural foliage. Both feature direct views of the Caribbean Sea.

Available with or without a private outdoor plunge pool, our spacious One-Bedroom Beach Houses showcase all of the upscale amenities featured in our studios, along with a tastefully furnished living room that is separate from the bedroom area and offers additional seating at a custom-built wet bar.
A separate bedroom featuring large windows welcomes ample natural light into your relaxing sleep space, while a large walk-in closet provides plentiful storage. The bedroom also has its own 40″ Smart TV, in addition to one found in the living room. A stunning and expansive bathroom with a luxurious standalone tub and makeup counter with double vanities is offered, along with a spacious outdoor garden shower.
A large veranda provides the perfect setting to take morning coffee and watch the sunrise, or relax with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the sea.

Two Bedroom Tree Top Villa

Our stylish three-story Two-Bedroom Tree Top Villa encompass a generous living space and sits just off the beach among lush gardens, near the yoga studio and fitness center.
The top floor boasts a magnificent master bedroom with a king bed, hardwood floors, and private balcony. Also featured is a private spa-inspired bathroom with a beautiful shower and makeup counter.
The middle floor is home to a spacious living room with custom furnishings and limestone tile floors as well as a guest bathroom with shower and a dining area. Adjacent to the living room is a fully-fitted kitchen with granite countertops and a wide range of appliances making this a true home-away-from-home. A balcony offers additional outdoor seating, while a futon offers extra sleep space should you need it.
The studio-style guest bedroom, with its own private entrance, is located on the ground floor and features its own bathroom as well as large windows that welcome ample natural light.
Note that the guest bedroom does not have internal access to the rest of the house. It can be rented as an additional bedroom to augment the other two and three bedroom Beach Houses across the street.

Showcasing delightful interior living spaces and generous outdoor decks with private plunge pools, direct beach access and space for alfresco dining, our Two-Bedroom Beach Houses are perfect for a family or those needing a little extra space.
A bright and airy open-plan living space with fully-furnished kitchen features large glass doors that open onto your private pool deck offering unparalleled views of the beach and nearby cayes. The living area also features custom seating, a 40” Smart TV, and a dining table for four. The kitchen comes complete with all the appliances you might find at home, as well as everything needed for a casual meal with family and friends. Additional bar seating is available at the kitchen counter while the expansive pool deck includes loungers and dining space for six.
Both bedrooms feature large closets and their own oversized, spa-inspired bathrooms. In addition, our master bedroom ensuite bathrooms feature an indoor/outdoor shower as well as a large indoor tub shower. Most of our stylish Two-Bedroom Beach Houses feature a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the guest bedroom.

Three Bedroom Beach House

Ideal for families or groups of friends, our stunning two-story Three-Bedroom Beach Front Villa allows you to enjoy the quintessential Belize escape.
The luxurious residence features beautiful interior living space adorned with Belizean hardwoods, including black poisonwood bedroom floors and mahogany cabinets. The outdoor deck with private plunge pool offers direct beach access and outdoor dining for six. A full kitchen is appointed with granite counter tops, and comes complete with all the appliances and utensils you need to enjoy a meal with friends or share appetizers on the veranda. There is also an indoor breakfast nook that can accommodate up to four guests.
The master bedroom is perched above the living/dining area and is fitted with a king size bed and walk-in wardrobe plus a private ensuite bathroom. In addition, the master bedroom features breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea from its own private balcony.
Two guest bedrooms feature king size beds, large wardrobes and spa-like bathrooms with oversized tub showers as well as truly beautiful indoor/outdoor showers. As an additional feature, each bedroom also enjoys its own entrance, making it ideal for groups who wish to share their adventures, but who also value their privacy.

Casa Palmera:
Four Bedroom Beach House

Casa Palmera is the latest addition to the Naia family of luxury villas. Completed in May 2022, this beautifully adorned two storey four bedroom beach house features rich hardwood furniture and large glass doors and windows providing you with expansive and unobstructed views of the ocean.
The ground floor features a spacious living area, full kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, half bath, two bedrooms, and a washer and dryer. Take it easy on one of the poolside loungers or go for a dip while something sizzles on the grill! The master bedroom is on this floor and features a king sized bed, TV, walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom also features a king size bed, TV, and an en suite bathroom with direct access to the veranda.
The upper floor is home to two bedrooms, each with a gorgeous view of the Caribbean Sea and the nearby islands. One of the bedrooms sports two double beds, making it perfect for kids. The second bedroom boasts a king sized bed. Note that there is one full bath on this floor.
The first floor has 2,685 square-feet of indoor living space, 1,269 square-feet of garage space, 1,533 square-feet of outside deck/pool area – for a total of 5,487 square feet on the first floor. The second floor has 1,222 feet of living space and 183 feet of open space. Total of 6,892 square-feet.
Casa Palmera, located a short distance from the resort center, is ideally suited for families or groups that are looking to combine all the amenities of a Naia luxury beach vacation with an extra dose of privacy.

Madera Beach House is classic Caribbean laid back life at its best: outdoor dining area, a private swimming pool, and the expanse of the ocean a few feet away from your bedroom.
This one-of-a-kind 4.5 bedroom, 3 bath Beach House is ideally set up for a family vacation by the sea. The interior of the home is decked out with gorgeous Belizean hardwood floors and ceilings. Full kitchen, equipped with everything needed to prep meals for family or friends is upstairs. Your toughest choice is whether to dine indoors at the bar and breakfast nook, or to take the party outside to the main dinner table on the veranda in the bracing Belize breeze.
On the upper floor there is a master bedroom that features a hardwood king bed with ensuite bathroom and two guest bedrooms each with a queen bed, shared bathroom and a full kitchen. On the ground floor there is a master bedroom with a king bed and a children’s room with a single bed, shared bathroom as well as a kitchen. Privacy is paramount here, as there are no other rental units located directly next to Madera Beach House, though the resort center is a short walk or bike ride away.

Beach Bar and Grill
Laidback luxury wouldn’t be complete without a beach bar, so when it’s time for poolside relaxation, our Beach Bar and Grill is the ideal place to be.
Casual yet classy, start your day here by enjoying one of our many tasty breakfast options while you enjoy the morning sunshine rising over the Caribbean Sea. Sip a freshly made invigorating smoothie or wake up with a mug of fresh coffee.
Later in the day, the Beach Bar and Grill embraces our seaside setting with a menu that offers fresh, local cuisine, cold beers and specialty drinks from our tropical bar.
Sample local favorites such as seafood, homemade burgers and deliciously healthy tacos and salads. Whether you’re after a light bite, some poolside fun, or a casual three-course lunch, you can be sure to find something on our menu to tempt you.

Reflections Spa Café
Located within Naia Spa and positioned on the edge of an enchanting lagoon, the Spa Café is the perfect location for a private dinner, small gathering or cocktail party.
The Spa Café is made available upon request for special occasions and although it is not a full service restaurant, it features our Beach Bar and Grill menu. So if you are planning a special private event, the laid-back and secluded space of the Spa Café is the ideal location with a maximum capacity of 50 persons.

Named after the year that Belize attained independence, 1981 is our signature restaurant and offers guests a modern take on fresh Belizean cuisine, with an emphasis on high quality local ingredients and creative mixology. The polished, yet relaxed, ambiance provides the perfect waterfront setting to reconnect with family and friends. Our ever-evolving seasonal menu features signature seafood dishes, as well as flavorful local meats and tasty vegetarian options.
The dining menu is complemented by an exclusive drink selection featuring a carefully curated wine list and a specialty signature cocktail menu.
