Welcome to Maquenque Eco Lodge & Treehouse
Out hotel is the best place for lovers of nature. We are strategically located within Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge, bordering the San Carlos River. We have 15 bungalows of approximately 45 m2, equipped with: hot water (via solar panels), private bathroom, ceiling fan, open closet, balcony with a beautiful view to a natural lagoon, where you can relax in a hammock with a book or just enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature.
Our lodge has 68 acres of tropical rainforest, within which we have trails for you to enjoy alone or with one of our guides. There is a great variety of flora and fauna, making this the perfect place for bird lovers. Currently, we have identified more than 592 species of birds, including the Great Green Macaw (Ara ambiguus) and Scarlet Macaw (Ara Macao).

In Maquenque Eco Lodge we strive that all of our guests have a closer contact with nature in a responsible way, with the best amenities for accommodation, food and a unique sense of providing personalized service is what identifies us. This is why we made this new project of the Tree Houses (Bungalows in the trees), located more than 12 meters high in extraordinary trees in the rainforest giving an excellent view over nature and everything that surrounds it!!
