Pristine Camps (Salinas Grandes - Argentinië)

The Pristine Camps is the first chain of high-end camps, they went beyond the limits of imagination, science and engineering.

A project created from its foundations to be the next icon of modern hospitality in Argentina.

PRISTINE was born on the basis of the triple impact economy, where they understand that they are only mere facilitators, generators of opportunities for genuine growth of the communities with which they collaborate, and the engine of conservation of the destinations where they are located.

Located 8 kilometers within the heart of the Salinas Grandes de Jujuy, PRISTINE SALINAS GRANDES unites on the one hand the protagonism of the ancestral culture of our strategic members of the Cachi del Chincho Cooperative of the Aguas Blancas community, and the values applied to the real sustainability of the project. Together, they make this a dream in which many are identified.

Behind PRISTINE CAMPS is the work of more than 25 people, who from their different specialties have joined to co-create this fantastic project with a very clear objective, to show the world that you can dream and share our values at their best. This is the first sheet of a story that is beginning to be written in our lives and in our much-loved profession, the hospitality industry and the triple impact.

They thought, designed and built PRISTINE with the intention of not generating any kind of alteration on the fantastic scenery of the Salinas Grandes. The Luxury Camp was built on elevated wooden platforms, which prevent the erosion of the suelo and allow the geography to follow its natural course. They have thought through every detail, without losing sight of the sustainability of this nature reserve, offering a personalized service for a maximum of 10 guests per stay who will stay in 4 high-end domes fully equipped.

Premium Suite - “Domo INTI (Sol)"

Room with capacity for 3 people, consists of a sommier king, separable to twin. It has an armchair, high and low fairy-wren table, a rustic desk with its wooden chair and tiento in play, stove, minibar and bathroom.

This dome stands out for having an external wooden tub on the deck, heated with firewood.

Decorated with a palette of ochre colors. 7 mts diameter / surface 38.5 m2.

Premium Suite - “Domo KILLA (Luna)"

Room with capacity for 3 people. It consists of a sommier king,separable to twin and a sofa bed type seat for a third person. It has a living room with armchair, fairy-wren table, stove, minibar and bathroom.

This dome stands out for having an external wooden tub on the deck,heated with firewood.

Decorated with a palette of blue and pink colors. 7 mts diameter / surface 38.5 m2.

Exclusive Suite-“Domo QOYLLUR (Estrella)"

Room with capacity for 2 people. It consists of a sommier king,separable to twin. It has a table with a sliced table with two chairs, a salamander stove and a bathroom.

Decorated with acolored earth paleta. 6 meters diameter / surface 28.5 m2.

Exclusive Suite - "Domo PACHA (Tierra)"

Room with capacity for 2 people. It consists of a sommier king,separable to twin. It has a table with a sliced table with two chairs, a salamander stove and a bathroom.

SERVICES

● Reception : at meeting point, gateway to Salinas Grandes.

● Transfert in / out : from the meeting point to the Camp, in 4x4 vehicles, coordinated by a community guide. Duration between 30/45 minutes.

● Fullboard: breakfast, tea and dinner, with regional products made by our Chef Mariana García del Río.

● Scheduled activities with specialized guides: personalized photographicexperience, interpretation of the constellations, visit to the Ojos del Salar until you reach the Alacay Mine, where you will have a mining experience. Ariel Alancay, will tell you how the process of salt extraction is.

● Activity included in stays of 2 nights or more :

- Full Day to Barrancas. Experience of archaeological interpretation with our guide Martín Alejo, in which you will know the municipal reserve and the circuit "Piedra Mapa", where you can appreciate paintings, engravings and a cadastral map. Gourmet lunch in the bed of the Barrancas River, specially prepared by our chef. Visit to the new Archaeology Interpretation Center of the town of Barrancas. This tour can be done entirely by vehicle, or it can be combined with a trekking in part of the visit, by our guide.

PACKAGE

DAY 1

You will be greeted by our guides at the entrance door to Salinas Grandes, they will accompany you during a journey of 8km to the heart of the salt flats. Check in at 15pm, but if you arrive on your own at another time, there will always be a person to welcome you and give you a warm reception.

During the tour you will learn more about our Salinas, its geological formation, know more about our Andean culture and the community you are visiting.

We will inform you about the ecological qualities of our glamping and its concept of sustainability, mentioning that the whole venture is an example of triple impact.

The trip, during some summer months (with water) takes approximately 45 minutes, during the rest of the year and in winter, without water, 30 minutes.

● 16:00 hs. Arrival at the hotel, welcome drink and room delivery.

● 17:00 hs Tea Time in Salinas

● 18:00 hs. Scheduled activity inside the salt pans (Personalized Photographic Experience, approximate duration, 1 hour)

● 19:00 hs. Magic hour, coordinated with the sunset schedule. Use of tub with hot water for the premium domesm and delight our first flavors inside the dome Lobby - restaurant or our central deck.

● 20:00 hs. Scene of Andean flavors.

● 21:30/22:00 hs. Interpretation of the constellations of the salt flats by our guide and lasers.

● 22:30 hs. End of activities on the first day.

DAY 2

● 06:30 to 09:30 hs. A la carte breakfast scheduled at sunrise time, to enjoy this incredible and unique show in Salinas Grandes

● 12:00 hs. Check-out and transfer to the meeting point outside the salt flats.

● 06:30 to 09:30 hs, breakfast a la carte.

● 09:30 hs. Excursión full day a Barrancas.

The route from Pristine to Barrancas is 1hs20 to leave the salt flats and 40 minutes to reach Barrancas.

This experience of archaeological interpretation will be carried out with our guide Martín Alejo, in which you will know the municipal reserve and the "Piedra Mapa" circuit, where you can appreciate paintings, engravings and a cadastral map.

Between 12:30 to 14:00 hs you will enjoy a gourmet picnic, specially prepared by the chef of Pristine Camp.

Then, the tour will continue with the visit to the new center of Interpretation archaeology of the town of Barrancas. Return to Pristine camp at 16:45 hs.

NOTE: This tour can be done, entirely by vehicle, or it can be combined with a trekking in part of the visit, by our guide.

● 16-18 hs. Return to the hotel.

● 19:00 hs. A magical new hour.

● 20:30 hs. Andean flavors.

● 22:30 hs. Resting under the starry universe.

DAY 3

● 06:30 to 09:30 hs. Breakfast scheduled a la carte.

● 12:00 hs. Check-out and transfer to the meeting point outside the salt flats.
